MTMGMA Mentorship Program

MTMGMA is committed to provide tools for healthcare leaders to be effective and efficient in their duties and to focus on networking to enhance skills to share in the exchange of ideas and information.  Mentoring is a joint venture that will give more experienced practice leaders the chance to provide guidance, insight and to pass on their successes and failures; it will allow them to coach and provide valuable opportunities for analyzing a Mentee’s individual and organizational growth.  Mentees get the opportunity to increase personal growth by learning from a peer and gain a better understanding of practice management and leadership.

    Program Specifics

    Who is Eligible?

All active MTMGMA members are eligible to participate in the mentoring program.

    Who is the Time Commitment?

This is to be established by the mentor and mentee collaboratively based on available time and needs.

    Assignment of Mentors

It is our goal that each mentor/mentee match has the potential to develop into a long-term relationship. We realize that at times, however, a mentoring relationship may not be effective for one reason or another. If either party feels the pairing is not meeting their needs, they can request a change.  This request should come through MTMGMA Board of Directors.
